Eagle Alley are a three part harmony group based around Bath who sing traditional and contemporary songs from England, America and elsewhere. Although our current range of material is wide we started with a shared love of sea songs and, not surprisingly, we still include many sea songs and shanties in our repertoire.

This EP celebrates that fact and is a collection of some of our favourite sea songs and shanties. We hope you’ll enjoy them as much as we do.

About Us

The seeds of the group were sown when Chris and Anne started going to the song session at the Star Inn in Bath. There they met Rob and after a while it felt natural for us to start singing together.

We started with a love of shanties but quickly expanded to include all sorts of English, and American traditional plus self-penned songs. Oh, and we do love a good chorus! ... more
